Do you offer decals on liveries from other countries?

At the moment we don't but we are keeping these options on the table.

Can I get decals for a vehicle that is not currently being offered?

In most situations, yes. We can create the decals on your behalf. SeeCustom Models & Decalsfor more info.

How long does it take to receive my order?

It depends on what items you've ordered, which delivery service you've chosen and where you want to receive the items.

All models are posted within 2 working days. Everything else are posted within 5 working days. However, that excludes any pre-orders.

In the UK, Tracked 24 usually delivers the day after, while Tracked 48 would usually take 2 to 3 days to deliver.

In Europe and North America, delivery is usually made within a week. Elsewhere it's usually within a month. However, customs may delay the process for necessary inspections and they may not release the item until customs charges are paid.

How to put on the decals?

Requirements

Alongside your model and the decal, prepare the following:

  • A bowl of warm water
  • A scissor
  • A hobby knife
  • Cotton swabs or tissue
  • A hairdryer

Step 1: Trim

Use a scissor or hobby knife, trim each piece of decal to its precise shape. Leave approximately 1 millimeter around.

Use a hobby knife to cut one or two parallel horizontal line(s) through door handles.

Step 2: Dip

Wet the surface where the decal is going to be applied with cotton swabs or tissue. Pay extra attention if your model contains electrical parts such as lighting.

Dip one piece of the decal into warm water. Wait until the decal film could easily slide off from its base paper, usually this takes approximately 30 seconds.

Step 3: Apply

Carefully slide the decal film onto the surface. Adjust the position accordingly.

If the decal could not lie flat, use the hairdryer to heat up the decal and gently press it onto the surface. Note that the decal will be very soft at this moment and no sudden movements should be made. Also, be careful not to let the hairdryer blow the decal away.

Step 4: Dry

When finished adjusting, wipe out any remaining water with dry cotton swabs or tissue.

After applying all decals, leave the model under good ventilation for at least half an hour for decals to completely dry up.

How to remove the decals?

Requirements

Alongside your model with decal, prepare the following:

  • A roll of tape

Removal

Place the tape over the decals you wish to remove. Press the tape onto the model and lift the tape. The decal should come off with the tape but may have residue left. Repeat the process until there is no residue left.

You should be gentle with the tape to avoid damaging the model.

This process cannot be used to remove part of a piece of decal, or to remove a piece of decal placed on top of another. In such cases, remove the decal in full and put on a replacement.

Oops! Guarantee

If you have accidentally broken part of your decal, let us know and we will arrange a replacement of that part for you, charging only a flat rate of £2 per request.

This guarantee can only be used once to each set of decal sold within 30 days of sale. This guarantee applies to buyers residing in United Kingdom only.

Once we confirm that your order is eligible for Oops! Guarantee, we will issue a replacement via untracked letter within 5 working days. Decals issued under Oops! Guarantee are not eligible for return, refund or replacement compensations.
